Privacy Policy

This policy explains what BarberCo-op (“we”, “us”) collects through this website, how we use it and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Information you send us through the join form: your name, business or shop name, role, city, Instagram handle (optional), the plan you're interested in and your message.
• Emails you send us, and our replies.
• Basic technical information your browser sends when you visit, such as IP address, browser type and the pages you request. Our hosting provider keeps this in server logs for security and troubleshooting.

We don't ask for payment details, government ID numbers or your home address on this site.

How we use it

• To review your request, set up your listing and contact you about membership.
• To run, secure and fix the website.

We will not add you to marketing text messages. If we ever offer them, we will ask for your separate consent first.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run BarberCo-op, under their own privacy terms:

• Vercel, which hosts this website.
• GoHighLevel, the customer relationship system where join requests are stored.
• Our email provider, when we write to you.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Directory listings

Business details shown in the directory are published with the barber's permission. A barber can correct or remove their listing at any time by emailing us.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies, tracking pixels or session recording. If that changes, we will update this policy first and honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out.

How long we keep it

We keep join requests for as long as we need them to talk with you about membership, and delete them when you ask us to.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, give you a copy, correct it or delete it. Email join@barbercoop.com. We may need to confirm it's you before acting, and we'll respond within 45 days. We won't treat you differently for making a request. Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional rights, and you can ask us about them at the same address.

Children

This site is for barbers and their clients. It is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new date.
